Members of the public and business leaders are warmly invited to join us for a lively evening of discussion on Monday, 13 November at the University of Waikato campus in Tauranga - 'Unlocking the innovation potential of mātauranga in business'.
Our speaker Dr Jason Mika, Associate Professor of Māori Business at Te Raupapa Waikato Management School (WMS) and Te Kotahi Research Institute, will share some of his research findings on the evolving role of mātauranga Māori within organisations in the fisheries, agribusiness, tourism, and other sectors.
This is an interactive session inviting audience questions and discussion.
Dr Mika is the winner of our inaugural 2022 WMS Mātauranga Māori Research Excellence Award.
This event is proudly hosted by WMS and the Tauranga Māori Business Association. It starts at 5.30pm with drinks and nibbles and will conclude at 7.00pm.
