Join The University of Waikato and the rest of Aotearoa as we usher in Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week). A full week that is dedicated to acknowledging and celebrating Aotearoa’s unique and only indigenous language. The University of Waikato's celebrations include reo Māori workshops, student-led scavenger hunts, movies, and of course, kai! Included in this week's significant events is the University's annual Kīngitanga Day. Prizes and giveaways will be awarded throughout the week, so keep a careful eye out for the events listed below.
