Dr Sharma is currently establishing a Centre for Inclusive Digital Enterprise (CeIDE), which has the vision of "empowering the less-included with digital innovation".

Its mission is to develop digital strategies that will bring about the transformation of the marginalised within our society in a way that creates equal opportunities for socio-economic well-being.

Specifically, this seminar will present the theoretical framework and provisional results of a research programme that investigates the digital transformation of knowledge economies and the consequent outcome of sustainable development.

Dr Sharma previously held research positions at Deutsche Telekom, IBM, NTU and ESSEC.  He received his PhD in Management Sciences from the University of Waterloo and is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering Technology and a Chartered Engineer.

The research seminar will be held in room MSB.4.02, from 1pm - 2pm. Everyone is welcome.
