Many of the communications challenges in web development SMEs are presented as organisational tensions.
In a research seminar hosted by Waikato Management School on Thursday, 12 April, University of Waikato PhD candidate Bridget Reynolds Sheffer will discuss how these tensions both challenge and benefit firms.
She will also identify successful strategies for managers who work with high-tech teams.
The name of the presentation is 'Communication challenges of web development SMEs: The benefit and challenges of organisational tensions'. It will be held in room MSB.4.02, from 2pm to 3pm.

Bridget has a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in professional communication, both from Southern Utah University.
Originally from Utah in the United States, she came to New Zealand in 2013 to begin studying for her PhD in Management Communication, and is currently preparing for her oral defence on 11 April.
