Hohou Te Rongo is an explorative exhibition that brings together the work of nine contemporary Māori artists, sharing reflections on their creative practices as a Rongoā (traditional Māori healing).

Curated by Margaret Aull the exhibition features artists Hiria Anderson, Regan Balzer, Lissy and Rudi Cole, Dr. Tawhanga Nopera, Eugene Kara, and collaborative work by Margaret Aull, Leilani Kake, and Elizabeth Gray.

Join us as we launch the exhibition during Matariki ki Waikato.

On Saturday 3rd July, 10:30am we will be hosting a panel discussion with our Exhibition Curator and exhibiting artists on the kaupapa of the exhibition, centering each artist's creative practice as a Rongoā and exploring the importance of artmaking as a tool for gathering or creating peace.
