Online Learning

Kia ora and welcome to Orientation! We have developed an online orientation for online learning students to ensure that you get all the important information that is usually delivered on campus. An online student is someone who is enrolled at the University of Waikato but cannot make it onto campus. This includes overseas students as well as those based in New Zealand.

For tips and information about online learning, check out the videos and pages below.

Moodle Modules

Moodle is an online platform that allows you to access papers, contact lecturers, find due dates and submit assignments. It is important that you become familiar with how to use Moodle as it will be the main system you use while studying at Waikato. Checking Moodle regularly will mean you don't miss out on important information and updates throughout the trimester. To login to Moodle, go to elearn.waikato.ac.nz and use your university username and password to sign in.
