The University of Waikato is once again running the annual New Zealand Cyber Security Challenge (NZCSC).
The event involves a series of challenges, designed to test the best hackers in the country, with the aim of raising awareness about cyber security. This year, there will be online public Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions with industry experts.
With separate competition categories for secondary school students, tertiary students, and industry experts, NZCSC attracts a wide range of local participants every year.
Preliminaries (Round 0) take place from Monday 25 May to Saturday 6 June.
Main Competition (Rounds 1 & 2) takes place from Thursday 9 July to Saturday 11 July.
Due to Covid-19, NZCSC will be running online. For full details, visit cybersecuritychallenge.org.nz.
NZCSC is run by the Cybersecurity Researchers of Waikato (CROW), part of the university's Department of Computer Science.
