Dr Huhta will discuss the current turmoil in energy and climate policy in Europe, as industry, householders and policy makers struggle to address climate change and the energy supply crisis caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. She will explain the influence of the recent geopolitical events on the speed and ambition of European energy and climate policymaking. Through concrete examples, she will analyze the European Union’s approach to energy and climate change, and discuss how these two policy areas are increasingly integrated.
This 60 minute lecture (with Q&A) will take place in room MSB 1.36 at the Waikato Management School. Paid parking is available at Gate 10.
