Documentary film: Closing the Loop

Staff and students are invited to attend a free screening of the world's first full-length documentary on the circular (zero-waste) economy, Closing the Loop, on Wednesday, 6 June from 5.30pm.
This event is brought to you by Waikato Management School’s Research Unit for Responsible and Sustainable Management.
Closing the Loop explores five key strategies for achieving a circular economy – reduce, reuse, recycle, renew and reinvent – by showcasing innovative examples from Europe, Latin America and Africa.
The film is presented by global sustainability expert Dr Wayne Visser from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, in collaboration with Emmy Award-winning director Graham Ehlers Sheldon.
It also includes commentary from centres of excellence like the World Economic Forum and the University of Cambridge.

The screening will be followed by a short panel discussion and Q&A with four panellists:

- Adele Rose, CEO of the 3R Group
- Professor of Economics Les Oxley, Waikato Management School
