The University of Waikato will be holding student events in Beijing and Shanghai in September 2023. Join us for an exciting and informative evening with our academic staff and discover everything you need to know about studying at our prestigious University.

We welcome our global alumni network of 90,000+ students to share their experiences about the impact Waikato has had on their journey to success.

Beijing Admissions Event

Date: Thu, 14 Sep 2023 18:00 - 20:00 China time

Location: Grand Millennium Beijing 7 东三环中路 Chao Yang Qu, Bei Jing Shi 100020 China

Description: At the beginning of the event, we will hold a series of short presentations/speeches from Education New Zealand and our academic staff, who will address our key subject areas, our global reputation, and employment opportunities once you graduate. We will also be joined by representatives from our pathway provider Navitas. Staff will then be available for 1-1 counselling and to issue on-the spot offers. Don’t forget your admission documents and to ask about our scholarships!

Shanghai Admissions & Alumni Event

Date: Wed, 20 Sep 2023 18:00 - 20:00 China time

Location: New Zealand Central 上海, 新天地, 马当路190号 (近兴业路) 3楼, 3rd Floor Jin Lin Tian Di 190 Ma Dang Road Shanghai, 200020 China

Description: At the beginning of the event, we will hold a series of short presentations/speeches from the New Zealand Consulate and our academic staff, who will address our key subject areas, our global reputation, and employment opportunities once you graduate. Some of our highly valued alumni will also share their personal study journeys. We will also be joined by representatives from our pathway provider Navitas. Staff will then be available for 1-1 counselling and to issue on-the spot offers. Don’t forget your admission documents and to ask about our scholarships!
