Hohou Te Rongo is an explorative exhibition that brings together the work of nine contemporary Māori artists, sharing reflections on their creative practices as a Rongoā (traditional Māori healing).
Curated by Margaret Aull the exhibition features artists Hiria Anderson, Regan Balzer, Lissy and Rudi Cole, Dr. Tawhanga Nopera, Eugene Kara, and collaborative work by Margaret Aull, Leilani Kake, and Elizabeth Gray.
Join us as we launch the exhibition during Matariki ki Waikato.
At 1:30pm, Saturday 3 July, we are excited to host a workshop with Lissy and Rudi Cole who will be sharing expertise on their sculptural crochet art form.
