The University of Waikato is delighted to sponsor the Latin America & Spain Film Festival.
In it's 20th year the Latin America & Spain Film Festival (LASFF) is a cultural event dedicated to contemporary cinematographic productions from Latin America and Spain. It is also a non-profit event which aims to bring together Latin America, Spain and other New Zealand communities through the big screen.
This year there are 9 participating countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Peru, México and Spain.
The event will reach 11 cities in New Zealand: Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton, Nelson, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Tauranga, Waiheke Island, Wellington and Whanganui.
The selection of movies include a wide range of genres, topics and styles.
Admission to the movies is free.
