Pilates is the perfect way to improve your posture and develop body control. It is a great workout that uses flowing movements to help develop long lean muscles instead of bulk.
Pilates is an exercise method whose focus is on strengthening the "powerhouse", largely the abs and buttocks. Pilates exercises teach awareness of breath and alignment of the spine, thereby helping to balance mind and body.
One of the best things about the Pilates method is that it works so well for a wide range of people. Everyone will benefit from athletes to seniors, women rebounding from pregnancy to people who are at various stages of physical rehabilitation.
