Urban Belly Dance has been developed to combine modern bellydance and fitness-aerobics. The tutor Anastasia Ponomareva is a professional Fitness/Aerobics Instructor from Russia who has been inspired by Tribal Style Belly dancer Rachel Brice and popular Turkish Belly dancer Didem.
This program is based on the more recently popular Tribal style belly dancing which is blended with popular music such as electronica and other popular styles of dance such as Hip-Hop, Breakdance, Traditional Turkish Bellydance, Flamenco, Strip-Dance, as well as Aerobics and elements of Yoga.
It is immensely fun and there are a wealth of health benefits awaiting all participants.
